Pendant necklaces were spotted all over the spring 2025 runways, and we’re not too surprised given the overall theme of personal self-expression in the fashion world this season.

“You can easily make a pendant your own just through charms, initials, and birthstones,” says Dianne Boyer, a Detroit-based stylist and the founder of Dianne in Style. “Pendants can also carry an emotional value—think of a passed-down family heirloom—that can personalize the piece by telling its story. It’s a way to combine style and storytelling for a unique personal look.”

Updated Pearls

These are your grandmother’s pearls—but with a modern-day twist. Hannah Florman, a private jeweler in Boston, says that integrating heirloom pearls into more casual and even funky jewelry is a big spring accessory trend.

“Think of mixing them with diamonds or on bulkier chains versus your grandmother’s single-strand pearls,” she suggests. “Pearls mixed with diamonds or thicker chains create a striking balance of classic elegance and modern edge. I love how yellow gold enhances the creamy luster of pearls, making them stand out while adding a touch of warmth and contrast.”

Oversized Gold Earrings

In the case of gold earrings, bigger is definitely better when it comes to spring style trends. A gold teardrop shape is trending, and one that was seen over and over again on 2025 runways and now in celebrity culture and street style. “These oversized earrings make an outfit stand out—you look instantly fancy,” says Tracy Green, co-founder and CEO of luxury eyewear brand Vontélle.

Statement Belts

Statement belts were also seen on the spring runways, both for the role they play in personal expression and because there's a trend towards more structured looks this season.

“We’re seeing wider belts to help cinch the waist and create a more polished look. We’re also seeing sculptural styles, chain belts, and bold buckles that signify personal expression,” Boyer says. “Belts can accentuate an outfit or they can be the outfit, depending on how you want to style them.”

Charm Bracelets

Pandora’s box is fully opened on charm bracelets. This one’s a nice nod to the ‘90s and ‘00s, and it is a continuation of the charm trend showing up everywhere from purses to shoes. The trend also aligns with the overarching theme of ultra-personalization. What better way to show off your own personality than with a fully customized bracelet featuring dangling, handpicked charms?

Western Hats

Saddle up! Western hats are taking center stage this spring, riding the wave of the recent resurgence of country music and festival culture. With unique embellishments and vibrant colors, they are designed to stand out and make a statement,” notes Deseri Kelley, founder and designer of luxury accessory brand DESERI.

Jewelry rooted in nature has deep cultural and historical significance, often symbolizing spirituality and a connection to the land upon which we live. “With sustainability at the forefront of fashion, designers are incorporating organic shapes, floral and fauna motifs, and natural textures into their collections, using recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones,” explains Ruhee Rathod of Bario Neal.

Large Clutches

From Milan to New York City, it was hard to see a fashion show that didn’t involve models holding an oversized clutch. For spring 2025, that translates to “bigger clutch bags in different colors and materials, including leather, beaded, smooth, basket weaved or braided, and with baubles,” Green says. “They’re big enough to fit everything we need—like an iPad, phone, keys, and books.”

Statement Sunglasses

Go ahead and have some fun with this “functional accessory” this season. From peculiar shapes to flashy colors to glittering frames, making a statement with your sunglasses is a definite "do" for spring 2025. “There are interesting sunglasses shapes emerging for this season; they can almost be futuristic looking with oversized and asymmetrical shapes,” Boyer says. “Color is also a part of the sunglasses trend. You don’t have to stick to brown, tortoise, or black, and look for fun embellishments to add style such as crystals and studs," she adds. Have fun with this style, and look for a pair that fits your face shape.
